Best jewelry store in town

Jim Kruger is On The Level and is the friendliest store manager I have ever met. It was definitely worth the visit to his store. His staff is professional and really know their stuff. Thanks y'all!

Beautiful jewelry and friendly service

I've been looking for several years now for jewelery with my birthstone and other pieces that would go with jewelry I already own. I've found a small selection and the same old thing in other stores. I am excited to find such a large selection and beautiful pieces at Kruger's. I love the pieces I purchased! My sales person Angela was friendly and helpful. I will be back. Thank you!

My one and only jewelry store

Jimmy Kruger and his staff are all incredibly nice, caring people who really strive to provide you the best service possible. They have everything from watches to diamonds to everything in between. My husband bought my wedding ring here and I am constantly getting compliments on it. I also bought my bridesmaids beautiful, handmade, custom earrings from Kruger's and they love them. They wear them all of the time! Every time I go to Kruger's I find at least 5 different things I want. And all of the salespeople there are knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. They are never stuffy or condescending. I'm pretty young (only 24) and I've been to other jewelry stores where I've had the displeasure of receiving unpleasant treatment because of my age. I have never had that kind of unfortunate response from anyone at Kruger's. They recognize each shopper as a special person and treat everyone who comes in their door with respect. I've received handwritten notes and coupons in the mail from them. And every time I go in, they recognize me and are welcoming. My husband and I will be loyal Kruger's shoppers for the rest of our lives.

PS- I should add that I never review anything unless I'm extraordinarily impressed. Also, my usual salesperson is Angela. My sister went with me to see her today and marveled at how nice she was. Angela spent an hour showing me 10 different items, wrote them all down for me so I could show my husband, and cleaned my rings for free. She's absolutely great!

Kruger's is a true Austin original business. Very friendy and knowledgable staff. We always enjoy talking to Jimmy about past Austin experiences since my wife and I also grew up in Austin.

As Jimmy says, working in a jewelry store is a job with a lot of LOVE. People buying items for loved ones in their lives. You can tell that Jimmy loves his work by the quality, friendly interaction with his customers and future friends. Keep up the good work.

Best place in town to buy Jewelry!

I worked for David Kruger for a few years and loved every minute of it. When it comes to a business that really knows about customer service, this is the place. The downtown location is a very special store with some of the friendliest employees in town. Although it has been over ten years since I worked for David, I can't stop going back there. The reason I am writing this review is because they deserve it. In todays world people are so fast paced and seem to have forgotten what good customer service feels like. I would suggest taking a trip downtown and enjoy warm reception you get at Kruger's. My entire family does business with Kruger's and will continue to do so. Thanks guys! Paul P.

Best Customer service ever!

I was just at the mall and noticed my watch had broken a pin and came off my rist. Having dealt with jewelry repairs before I knew this would for sure be a pain and the first place I went would in no way have what I needed to fix it as it is not a Iron Man watch. I was pleasently surprised when I went into Krugers and was instantly welcomed and greeted with a hand shake. He took my watch and said "no problem!" The watch was ready before I was even through looking at their amazing inventory! The price was unbelieveable and he said just think of us for your next purchase. What? Just when I thought customer service was dead Kruger has reminded me that there are local businesses that truley know how to treat people!! Thanks again!

Unbeatable Customer Service

Jim Kruger is a wonderful man. He personally took the time to help me out with my simple little question. I went to several other jewelers who acted like I was a complete bother and tried to pressure me into making a decision to buy a ring right then. Jim talked to me like a person and really took an interest in me. They were all so kind and calm and willing to let me walk out and talk to my husband and think about it for a while. I will do all of my jewelry business with them from now on.

I'm very happy with my experience at Kruger's.  I was headed next door to James Avery (purchasing birthday earrings for a friend) when I saw the Kruger's 50% off Sterling Silver sign.  My friend wanted 2" silver hoop earrings - I found a $70 pair for $35.  (They would have been $60 next door at JA.)
The saleswoman was extremely helpful and efficient.  She provided a silver colored box and ribbon/trim in my friend's favorite color and even provided a complimentary long stemmed rose.  Thank you!  I'm certain I'll be back to check out the 50% off sale again.

Completely Unbeatable!

I hate the mall during the Christmas rush. It's hot in there; there are too many people; parking is a pain. But the bright spot for me this evening was the kind and helpful gentleman at Kruger's (lower level on the Sear's end).

I didn't spend a lot of money there by any means, but he made me feel like I was his favorite customer of the day. I picked up a single Christmas gift there, and he made the whole experience so pleasant.

And to top it off at the end of our transaction, he shook my hand, thanked me for shopping there and called me by name. I felt like I was shopping in the local jewelry store in the small town where I grew up. All shopping experiences -- whether you spend $20 or $2,000 -- should be so good.
